The Marriage
“Then, he laughed again and again derisively at me. His entirety of countless and brutal army were laughing, wailing, groaning, keening and yowling in a roguish way. That got me frighten for the land at first then, for lady Levi who I have vowed to protect." The king spoke terrifyingly. 'Did Vaigus tell you when he will attack the earth?’ the queen asked intrusively. ‘No he didn't,' he replied at a point. 'Do you have an idea?’ Bajan asked meddling, from the spot where the priest had earlier affixed him via his wizardry. “No, hey! What are you doing there, standing like a startled stoat?” the king asked quipping and digressing from the subject of discussion. ‘I guess your beloved priest of the Passover who just can’t do without his gift has made this point my lounge. Now in the name of the spirits, can you tell him to get me out of this spot, it sucks, hmm!.’Bajan spoke, making a monkey out of the priest. The priest looked at him obnoxiously and then released him by twitching his eyes which forestalled the magic bindings holding him and broke the spell of monument. 'Thank you, priest,’Bajan voiced out the instinctive reactions of his mind, in a punning manner. The king was glad to see him and so hugged him and both were laughing like bunch of schoolboys in a summer class sipping an orange ten.hmm!” “Of course as the old saying goes, boys will always be boys,” the king exclaimed humorously. if Vaigus wants to attack the earth, then we must prepare ourselves. We must send words to all part of the earth and alert both the spirits and the world of humanity to be vigilant against the impending invasion of the horde. We might not know the time, but we can at least prepare for it.” The priest spoke audaciously. He further uttered “and to you, my fairest lady of the great lord Zamanni, creator of the heavens and earth and all creeping things on the earth. In accordance with the revelation of the king, you are the target of Vaigus vengeance, hence, that makes our country the center of his enigma that is to befall earth. We do not abandon or forsake our love ones, therefore, it is our duty to keep you save at all cost and as our future queen.” The priest commented. ‘Thank you priest, am most honored, for the support of the king, the people, mother and you. I will, not forget this act of kindness and generosity I have received from humanity’ she spoke emotionally with her eyes running over the king's face.' After much understanding between them, the priest decided to take his leave. ‘My queen take care of your kingdom, I must commune with the spirit. I must go now. Prepare for the feast of reunion, Bye. In the name of the spirit, the blacks and rod, fighters of helms and catastrophe, reclaim the rift oh! Ye invincible and hallowed of the heavens,' He cried out and then vanquished into thin air after declaiming his sorcery. The queen bade them goodnight and went back to her quarters while Bajan to his post to prepare for the king's marriage. The king and the lady Levi were left in the king's chambers alone. She too wanted to leave few minutes after everyone retired to their respective post, when the king grabbed her hand and drew her closer to himself, close enough to feel her breathe, collide her lips, look into her eyes and feel the emotions that crest and troughed in them like waves tossed in the oceans. He held her waist with his left hand while his right hand was gliding from her head through to her neck while his nose kept snuffling the strands of her hair in a romantic way. She was already feeling the rebounds of strong emotion and closeness almost to be turned on when she quickly interrupted the king.” You need rest, king. You've been through a lot lately. We can continue with this part after the marriage, is not like am going anywhere.” She spoke lovingly with both her hands wound around the king's neck and relaxed on the shoulders.” hmm! you know how to convince people, my love. I love you beyond what words can express. Sometimes I feel like just putting you close to my chest so I don't have to worry anymore," he spoke poetically. "You are been poetic my love. How would you breathe if you put me close to your chest, wouldn't you suffocate and make me a widow already, hmm! Bad, ha!ha!" she spoke hilariously with an amorous glance at the king . 'You are completely ridiculous, come here am going to catch you, come over,' the king kept chasing after her round his room until she eluded him and escaped to her quarters. The royal guards and maids were delighted to see the king happy with a woman for the first time and playing like a boy in his fourteen. It was cool and romantic. Lady Levi went to her chambers in preparation for the wedding tomorrow. The thoughts of the romantic moments she just shared with the king kept campaigning for her attention until she finally gave in. she began to imagine those moments with strong intimacy and compelling love, spotless and glimpsed in the oceans and wild. The king was more than a savior to her. He was her hero and prince charming, and had no doubt they would become a lovey-dovey couple. Contrary to her positive thoughts, the queen was worried sick and agitated in her spirit. Her soul was deeply troubled and restless concerning the safety of the king, his wife, and the entire kingdom. the viaduct was just a tip of the iceberg compared to the enormity of power at Vaigus disposal. She prayed in her heart that the spirits protect them from the hands of these monsters about to be unleashed into the world of men. She performed and outright incense for the souls of the dead and the prayer of liberation for the heavy-laden and also poured blest libation for her expiation with foreign spirits. The procession became a routine in her life which she constantly practiced daily. The day finally came to an end and every person went to sleep. Sleep is a vital part of life that cannot be avoided for any reason.
It was a new dawn and the imperial household was busy with the king’s wedding preparation. The queen had already assigned special maids to the lady Levi who would attend to her every need even unto her personal preparation and dressing for the wedding. Many people across and beyond the kingdom of Penilot were preparing for the royal wedding. The wedding became the talk of the town. The rumor of the king getting married to the almighty’s daughter and the fairest of all creatures was intriguing and a thing of surprise in the kingdom. The wedding was scheduled to hold at noon and all sorcerers, witches, men, women, children, disabled, free, or bonded were invited to celebrate with the royal family. While Lady Levi was feeling nervous and wished that the day had come to an end even before it started, the king was wishing the day never even started so, he can keep starring at her beautiful and prettiest face at the altar of solemnization. Both of them were attended to by a lot of people and introspectively served to their maximum satisfaction. The queen was not an exception in the league of beauty and elegance. Despite her husband had died and she was aged, she still looked beautiful and could wick a huge dipstick all night if necessary. She was adorned with the most expensive ornaments in the kingdom including materials crafted out of gold, Ophir and blood rubies which was at her disposal. Her beauty was impeccable and her gorgeousness could still turn on young men and compel them into orgy. She was far younger than her age and the undying desire of every pervert of a man or boy in the kingdom. Because of her status in society, she was restricted from many advances. People had to populate the royal court in their Sunday dresses to attend the wedding. The hall was fully lighted and the people pullulated in happiness with echoing smiles of unity originating from the floor of hope which was delved with surety and gaiety.
Slowly, the entire hall was filled to the brim by people from within and beyond the kingdom. Governors, kings, princes, shepherds, poor and rich, disabled, and sorcerers from far and wide were present on time except for the priest of Passover. The queen then came out of her quarters in the company of an array of beautiful maids who gave her the best makeover of the year. It was her son's wedding and she needed to look the best if not for any reason but to secure the safety of her son by sharing in his happiness. She was looking super sexy and inviting that married men were having a hard-on already. Her dress was knitted in red and touch of white with unfurling romance both old and young found difficult to resist. "long live the queen," the people chanted in love and happiness. The queen was delighted by the warm appraisal of the people. Wearing a smile on her face, she waved at them with her right hand and the people joyful reciprocated the gesture with a shout of honor and love. The queen was looking out for the priest of Passover but he could not see even a shadow of him at all and that got her worried. Why his friend of all people will be absent from his son's marriage. The couples were still in their respective courts, dressing up and taken their time to hoodwink the day. All of a sudden the lights went off and people began to fret except, for the queen who was aware that it was none other than his friend the priest of Passover who was making a grand entry. When the hall was relight, he was found at the altar with the great book of solemnization which contained the marriage documentaries of all the ancestors of Penilot who wedded in history. The people were surprised to see him at the altar and could instantly comprehend the reason behind the pitch dark. The people knew the priest of Passover, Iscalibu as one the most powerful sorcerers in the whole of Penilot and beyond. His stand for righteousness and surety of good triumphing over evil was the grounds behind his popularity, and why he is considered a friend of the kingdom, the queen as well as the priest of Passover. He had a great sense of humor and loves to play with the children. He hatches magical schemes to scare away pretty but sassy and highly nosy maids and girls of the kingdom. His powers were never used to harm anyone except those who were against the kingdom. 'The priest, Iscalibu, commanded that the couples be brought in at once to complete the procession before the people's mouth drips to death out of gluttony for food. The king came out first and made his way to the altar and everywhere was shaking due to the bellowing and hollering of the people in joy and in total celebration of the king's happiness. The king was delighted and looking gorgeous, dashing and a take for women who were already randy and frisky for him. He was more of a gentleman. All the young women of the kingdom who had a crush on the king were utterly taken over by the charming looks of the king. His bicep, his broad chest which congregated at the surface with cordial momentum, his masculinity which projected from his royal attire was commanding a high degree of romance in reveling minds. The entire court was quiet as the people of Penilot were flabbergasted by the royal entry of the lady Levi, the potential wife of the king and the lady of Penilot. Even the queen herself was compelled to stand to her feet in honor of her beauty. She was indeed, the prettiest of all creatures under the heavens. The king was overwhelmed to the point he had lost his mind. His mouth was widely opened, that his lips became too small to cover his teeth. Lady Levi kept walking cheeringly to the altar, and slightly feeling nervous. Everyone's eyes were on her including the priest. No one was able to resist her attention. When she arrived at the altar the priest immediately began the marital procession. He began by invoking a lot of enchantment unknown to the people or what it even represented until, it came to the final point where they had to exchange vows, then garlands.
’Noble people of Penilot, we are gathered here to witness the holy solemnization between the king of Penelot and the daughter of lord Zamanni, the creator. If there is anyone here who does not want these two to get married can you say please may, or forever hold your peace? In the absence of none, I will like to start from you, my king. Do you take Lady Levi as your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish, in sickness and in health, in good and bad times, in wars and peace, In pain and laughter, in joy and hope until death do you part?’ the priest asked the king inquisitively. “The king replied a “yes “without any form of hesitations and the people applauded him. “ To you my lady, do you take Byfer Beneforous son of Elimoit and king of Penilot as your lawful wedded husband, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, in good and bad times, in wars and peace, in pain and laughter, in joy and hope until death do you part?” the priest asked lady Levi. “yes I do,” lady Levi replied enthusiastically. ‘Therefore, in the name of the spirits, in the witness of the heavens, earth and coast, in the sumptuousness of the heavenly brew, as priest and High lord of the meek and tan, I hereby declare these two husbands and wife.’ ‘thank you, priest,' the couples spoke simultaneously. The people shouted for joy while the couple went to the queen to seek her blessings and got a dose of it. They also proceeded to every member of the imperial council and they had enough of the blessings they could contract. The house was full of jubilation. They were overwhelmed with the fellowship of it. There was plenty to eat and drink and none was unhappy amidst them. The best musicians in the kingdom were there to perform for the couple. When they began to play, the entire kingdom became a dancing shoe. Everyone became mad and drunk with new wine. They danced to stupor. The king became drunk, for his friends had challenged his liquor capacity. Without rules, belching or regurgitation he excellently partook of it and worn. The kingdom considered the king, an all-rounder and the lady Levi who was now called the lady of Penilot was proud of her husband. Her husband had many skills that extended beyond the battlefield. He could jug and acrobat so well to merit the applaud of the imperial ministers. A lot of acrobats and millers were there to perform for the kingdom. The priest of Passover had to perform some magical display for children. He turned some fat boy into a gluconic joker and all the children were amazed while the boy was screaming for help and a turnover. The children found the play very hilarious and out of this world so, did not allow the priest out of their sight. There was happiness and joy in the air until the occasion came to an end. The people then retired to their respective homes to rest after a long day. The couples retired as well to enjoy their first night as couples. While the couples were busy enjoying their blissful night and men asleep, the horde was in rage and agitation spread like fire in the heart of Vaigus in hope to see men forever shut from the doors of happiness. But, had to do with time and the time was awakening and the race of men was about to push its daisies. In anger, Vaigus splashed a cog in hades that erupted a parliament of magpies that fled pass the imperial court to prove that he was aware of all they were doing up there. The priest saw the sign and understood what it represented from his window. He could not sleep anymore. Every person in the entire city was fast asleep. Then, he decided to return home immediately and plead the cause of humanity, and the world of the spirits against Vaigus madness.
